West Virginia Blue - AG Darrell McGraw Best Candidate For West Virginia
Fri Sep 12, 2008 at 23:09:47 PM EDT Attorney General Darryl McGraw has a significant lead over opponent Dan Greear in a recent poll conducted by Mark Blankenship Enterprises (MBE). The poll shows support for McGraw at 49%, while his opponent polls at 32%. McGraw, a Wyoming County native and WWII veteran, has been West Virginia's Attorney General since 1992. In that time he has helped tens of thousands of West Virginians who have been cheated, defrauded or misled by unscrupulous business practices. I can personally vouch for the effectiveness of the Attorney General's Office under McGraw from a recent experience. My girlfriend Nicole was defrauded by a Chevron operated oil changing station that failed to change her oil. She took her car to a local mechanic and was informed that her dipstick was lodged in her oil tank and that the oil had never been changed. She contacted the Chevron and was basically told her complaint was false and that the mechanic that saw her car was probably trying to cheat her out of money. It just so happens that the mechanic that looked at her car was my dad and he didn't charge us for anything. I told Nicole to contact the McGraw's office for help. She did and after just over a month she received a refund check in the mail from the Chevron. This, and thousands of other examples from around the state, is why we need to reelect Darryl McGraw as West Virginia's Attorney General. Many of you may hear attack ads against McGraw but do not believe them. They are funded by out of state corporations and big business cronies. These ads are misleading and inspired by the greed of those few that would want an Attorney General that is in the back pockets of companies that would try to swindle hard working West Virginians. McGraw is one of the state's best assets and through his commitment to the people of West Virginia we can be assured that we have someone on our side. ADDITIONAL MCGRAW ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
